A Mac specific problem

How can I print from my Mac-Browser (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer) without the headerline and footerline appearing in the printout?

1. From your FireFox browser, select "Print" from the "File" menu
2. In the window that appears, select the "Copies and Pages" menu (third from the top)
3. From the drop-down list, choose "FireFox."
4. From here you can elect to print without a header and footer:
   Page Headers and Page Footers: Left, Center, Right set to (Blank)

Now you can

• print nice documents from your browser when using writely
• use your browser to print good Websites as PDF-Documents
• and ultimatively completely replace Microsoft Word with a html-editor...

Wie kann ich von meinem Mac-Browser (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer) Dokumente ohne die Kopfzeile und Fusszeile ausdrucken?

1. wählen Sie Im FireFox browser für den Mac aus dem "Datei"-Menu die Zeile "Drucken"
2. Wählen Sie aus dem erscheinenden-"Drucker"-Fenster das Menu Kopien & Seiten (Drittoberstes)
3. wählen Sie aus der Auswahlliste "Firefox"
4. Hier können Sie die Einstelleungen für Kopfzeile (Page Headers: links, mitte, rechts) und Fusszeile (Page Footers) auf "kein Eintrag" (Blank) einstellen.

Nun können Sie

• Schöne Dokumente aus dem Writely Programm ausdrucken
• mit Ihrem Browser Websites als PDF-Dokument speichern (print to PDF)
• und schliesslich Microsoft Word durch einen html-editor ersetzen...
